Hi! My name is Sheila Dybdahl (pronounced “Dib-doll”), and I am the third grade teacher here at Neighborhood. I feel God has called and gifted me with the talents and abilities I need to be a teacher, and I absolutely love teaching!

I think learning should be fun, so we have lots of fun in third grade -- from writing and acting out our own plays to making Indian totem poles and owner sticks to having a “Pioneer Day!” Dressing up like pioneers, eating pioneer food, having an old fashioned school (with boys sitting on one side of the classroom and girls on the other, using only slates, McGuffy Readers, and
the Bible), and riding in a real covered wagon make “Pioneer Day” my favorite day of the year!
