At Neighborhood we desire to prepare our students for whatever God may call them to do. Each February we hold our annual Speech Meet.  This is a great opportunity to give the students experience in speaking in front of a large group of people — a valuable skill in life. Each student in 1st through 8th grade competes in the "In Class Speech Meet." The top scoring students from each class then participate in our "All School Speech Meet." They present their speeches in front of the school with  parents in attendance. It has always been a well received event at Neighborhood. “Unless you speak intelligible words with your tongue, how will anyone know what you are saying?”  Corinthians 14:9
