Mexico 2000

Day 1-2
Day 3-4

Rick Vidmar, Chris Bushéy, and other parents from Neighborhood will be traveling to Mexico with the sixth grade class on a missions trip to EnsenadaEnsenada. They will be leaving Saturday morning, March 18, and staying through Friday, March 24. They will be helping out at the "Kid's Kingdom" orphanage (Casa/Hogar is Spanish - it's really called a "house/home") and at the Youth With A Mission (YWAM) base and visit and help out at several casa/hogares (orphanages) and reach out to the Mexican people in Ensenada and surrounding communities. We will be doing skits, sharing testimonies, helping to clean up around the city and at the orphanages, and more. Chris will go to the YWAM base each morning (about 15 minutes away from the Kid's Kingdom orphanage), work all day with the students and group.

Could you please pray earnestly this week for a safe trip and one in which God will do a great work, in the hearts of the students and in the children and adults with which we interact in Mexico? We can use as much prayer cover as possible. This is our initial missions trip with the sixth graders (ages 11 and 12), and we hope to begin a yearly trip with the sixth grade class. Please inform your churches, family, and friends about this trip and ask them to pray for all as well.

This is going to be an awesome time of serving God, reaching out to many for an eternal impact, and helping to develop our hearts to be more like Jesus. We appreciate you coming along side us in praying for us and the group, and for helping out with the expenses if you desire. The most important thing you can do, of course, is to pray.
