HISTORY AND VISION OF NEIGHBORHOOD

Neighborhood Christian School was founded in 1979 to meet the educational and spiritual needs of children. The school began under the leadership of Deryl Radder, an educator and man of faith, who planted Neighborhood in the community of Dixon with a heart for missions. Neighborhood has continued through the years with this same heart in educating students to make an impact upon the world.

Neighborhood is a private Christian school with a friendly family atmosphere. Our staff is qualified, caring and committed to educating children for life. Neighborhood is a long standing member of Association of Christian Schools, Inc. (ACSI). It is registered with the state of California as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Neighborhood admits students of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship program and other school administered programs.
