HISTORY AND VISION OF NEIGHBORHOOD

Neighborhood Christian School was founded in 1979 to meet the educational and spiritual needs of children. The school began under the leadership of long time educator and man of faith, Deryl Radder, with valued support and involvement of local Christians and churches.

Neighborhood has continued through the years to provide an excellent education with our mission being to Motivate, Equip, and Train students to know God and make him known. As each student learns to read, write, and think, they are prepared to live for a higher purpose than themselves—the larger whole in the kingdom of God.

At this private Christian school with a family atmosphere, God has abundantly provided. We have always had quality staff committed to the children, supportive parents, and excellent curriculum.

Neighborhood Christian School is a long standing member of the Association of Christian Schools, Intl. (ACSI). Our school is registered with the state of California as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
