Greetings! My name is Eric Osborn and I am the 4th Grade Teacher here at Neighborhood. My wife Amy and 3 sons Jimmy, Jeremy and Jason live in Woodland where we are active in the ministry of Woodland Bible Church. We both grew up in Woodland and returned two years ago after a 14 year sojourn in Oregon. We are thrilled to be able to serve our Lord at Neighborhood Christian. Having been involved with several Christian schools over the years, I was deeply impressed with the heart and Christ-like spirit I found at NCS and among her administration and staff. It is truly a thrill to be here!

After graduating with a Bachelor's degree from UC Davis and a Masters of Divinity from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon I have had the thrill of being involved in teaching ever since leaving school. I have taught many grade levels, from upper elementary, Junior and Senior High, to the community college level and in adult ministries in the church. I was also privileged to be able to preach for five years as the senior pastor of two churches.

I love to learn and I love to have fun. If I can, I try to combine both! But sometimes, learning is just plain hard work - which I try to reward like crazy! I like to spice up my lessons by doing some quick acting and by using different dialects and voices when I teach. I also love to read history & theology, and view the night skies with my telescope. I am an ardent fan of the Lord of the Rings stories and am an avid Star Trek fan. And I love the Lord with all my heart and have been serving him for over 20 years. I want my life to point others to Him and to help others come to know Him as I have known Him.
