4th Grade Teacher

Hi, my name is Jene' Owens and I am blessed to teach 4th Grade. My husband Matt and I were both raised in Dixon and have been married since 1999. We have two wonderful boys, Carson and Carter, and they each have been a part of Neighborhood since their preschool years. In fact, I was able to teach at the preschool while our youngest son was a student. It has been thrilling to watch their academic and spiritual growth through the atmosphere here at Neighborhood. 

I graduated from Bethany College in 2002 with a major in Liberal Studies for Elementary Education and a minor in Child Development. It has been a desire of my heart to teach at Neighborhood for quite some time, and so coming here is truly a dream come true. I am so thankful that God has brought me to Neighborhood Christian School! 

My current favorite Bible verse is Mark 4:41 "Even the wind and the waves obey Him."
