Hello, everyone! I teach the first grade at Neighborhood Christian School. I am married to Tom Lanning (the 7th/8th grade teacher at Neighborhood) and I have two wonderful boys. Our family attends Valley Evangelical Free Church in Vacaville. I was born into an Air Force family in Landstuhl, Germany. I have two brothers, one 13 years older than me and one 7 years older. Yes, that means I'm the baby of the family.

I love reading books, especially Christian novels. My husband and I also collect books that were printed before 1900. I enjoy spending time with my family and the opportunity of traveling across the U.S. with them during the summer. I am not a big sports fan, but I do like playing volleyball whenever the opportunity presents itself. My favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future." I love knowing God is in control of my life!
